Our Integration with Meta Is Official

After months of development, testing, polishing, re-testing, and the occasional “why is this API doing that?” moment, we’re thrilled to share that Queen City Coons is now officially approved by Meta to publish articles directly to our Facebook Page.

From now on, when we publish news on our site—kitten announcements, cattery updates, educational posts, or behind-the-scenes stories—you’ll see them appear on Facebook automatically. No more copy-and-paste, no more double-posting, and no more “did we remember to share that?” moments.

Why This Matters

  • Faster updates — posts go live on Facebook the moment they’re published on our site.
  • Consistent messaging — titles, summaries, and timing stay perfectly aligned.
  • Better reach — especially for followers who primarily engage with us on Facebook.
  • More time for storytelling — less time juggling posting tools.

A Quick Thank‑You

We’d like to extend a quiet thank-you to the Meta App Review team for working with us throughout the approval process. Our Maine Coons may be persuasive, but even they can’t charm their way through OAuth flows and permission checks.

What’s Coming Next

  • More frequent cattery updates and day-to-day happenings.
  • Educational articles about Maine Coon care, health, and temperament.
  • Spotlight features on our queens, kings, and kittens.
  • Occasional “from the cats” posts — because they definitely have opinions.

Thank You for Being Part of Our Community

Whether you’re here for kitten announcements, breed education, or simply to enjoy giant fluffy cats living their best lives, we’re grateful you’re part of the Queen City Coons family. This new publishing workflow is just one more way we’re staying connected with you.

Here’s to smoother workflows, better stories, and many more updates ahead. 🐾
